Army-2021 Forum

During the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum JSC «Concern «Granit-Electron», headed by the General Director Igor Ponomarev, presented the latest state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions of defense and civil engineering, conducted productive business meetings and negotiations with prime contractors’ representatives and defense experts.

New types of military, civil and dual-purposes equipment were uniquely positioned at the exhibition by Concern «Granit-Electron» to give our customers the advantage to see high modernization potential of the enterprise, the versatility of technologies and the transformation of the developed equipment.

The joint exhibition of «Tactical Missiles Corporation» was visited by a delegation of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, representatives of the Indian Navy headed by the naval attache of the Indian Embassy in Moscow, a delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, a delegation of the Ministry of Industry of Azerbaijan, representatives of industry associations and communities of Russia.

Specialists of Concern «Granit-Electron» have held negotiations with representatives of ANANTH Technologies Ltd. (India) and OSK Private Limited (India) on issues of perspective cooperation regarding life cycle support of the prior supplied equipment, operating by the Indian Navy, maintenance and modernization of warfare systems.

Traditionally, at the Army Forums, Concern «Granit-Electron» demonstrates new civilian products. Thus, at the Army-2021 the high-latitude coherent radar station Parad 6X produced by JSC «Severniy press» , the navigation radar Tersa and the coastal radar Irtysh-3 °C of JSC «Saratovski radiopribornyi zavod» were presented. These developments are applicable in the Arctic zone, as they provide high safety of for vessel traffic management and control of the surface situation.
The development of the Arctic is one of the priority directions of the enterprise. The Concern’s project on the implementation of the unified information space of the Arctic, on equipping the Arctic sea coast with remotely controlled coastal radars was presented at the Forum as well.

JSC «Severniy press» demonstrated an Autonomous power source, based on an internal combustion engine with a wide range of applications, in particular, for equipping special equipment, for UAVs and light aircraft.

At the Army-2021 Forum, Concern Granit-Electron together with Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, presented the project Cyberboat-330 surface unmanned platform. Research institutes for the development of civil marine equipment, environmental protection services of the Russian Federation and foreign customers were interested in the project.

The delegations of the governments of Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk regions and the Acting Head of the Republic of Dagestan got acquainted with the latest developments of the Concern’s civil and dual-purpose products.

To strengthen the position of Concern «Granit-Electron» as industry experts, representatives of the Concern and integrated enterprises took part in Round tables and plenary sessions on main issues of the enterprise activities, organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy.

On August 28, on the final day of the International Military-Technical Forum Army-2021, the awarding of the companies participating in the forum took place. The ceremony was held under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov and with participation of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Alexey Krivoruchko.

Boris Obnosov, General Director of «Tactical Missile Corporation», was awarded with the main prize of the Forum — «For a significant contribution to the construction and development of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation», as well as for the preparation and conduct of the Army-2021.
